4th Floor Outdoor Observation Deck
The 4th-floor outdoor viewing terrace is the highest point on the tower, offering a complete 360-degree panorama across Gwangju's city centre. From here, you can see the Yangnim-dong district and Mudeungsan mountain. The terrace is equipped with Extended Reality (XR) telescopes that overlay augmented reality information onto the landscape, identifying and describing key landmarks and points of interest visible from the viewing platform.

The Gallery-Café on the 3rd floor of Sajik Park's Observation Tower offers 360-degree panoramic views across Gwangju alongside a contemporary art exhibition space. Sajik Light Forest
Sajik Light Forest is an interactive light installation that transforms Sajik Park with contemporary urban media art. When the cherry blossoms peak in mid-April, Gwangju City Council illuminates the trees, allowing visitors to experience the spectacle well into the evening. The installations blend natural beauty with cutting-edge lighting design, creating a distinctive blend of nature and technology worth visiting during the spring season.
Sajik Altar
The Sajikdan is a ritual altar at the heart of Sajik Park in Gwangju, lending the park its name and historical significance. Dating back to the Three Kingdoms period, this sacred site once hosted ceremonies where worshippers sought blessings for peace and prosperity from the deities of the earth and grain. What to see here is the well-preserved altar structure that offers insight into ancient Korean religious practices and the region's spiritual heritage.
