Book of Kells Exhibition
The Book of Kells Experience at Trinity College Dublin is the college's premier cultural attraction, offering the chance to view the celebrated 9th-century Irish illuminated manuscript alongside the stunning Long Room of the Old Library. The visit comprises two main sections: the Old Library itself, where you can see the manuscript volumes and walk through the soaring Long Room lined with historic shelves, and the adjacent Red Pavilion, which houses a complementary digital exhibition exploring the manuscript's history and craftsmanship.

Campanile
The Campanile is Trinity College Dublin's distinctive bell tower and most recognisable landmark, greeting visitors as they pass through the main gate. Completed in 1853, this 30.5-metre structure dominates Library Square at the heart of the campus. The tower was donated by John Beresford, then Archbishop of Armagh, with design by Sir Charles Lanyon and sculptures by Thomas Kirk. What to see here captures the collegiate character of one of Dublin's most iconic institutions.

The Rubrics
The Rubrics is Trinity College Dublin's oldest building, constructed between 1699 and 1705, and the sole survivor of the original red-brick residential quadrangle that bordered Library Square. Its name comes from the Latin for 'red', referring to its distinctive red-brick façade—a striking contrast to the grey stone of later campus buildings. It remains in active use as residential accommodation, housing students, new staff and visiting academics.
