Migration Galleries (1–2)

Galerías Motivation (4–7)
The Motivation Galleries (4–7) form the second thematic section of EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, exploring the reasons why Irish people emigrated. Set between the Migration galleries (1–2) and the Influence section (8–18), they are part of the museum's twenty themed galleries. These galleries examine the economic, social and personal factors that drove emigration from Ireland during the 19th and 20th centuries. What to see here includes personal accounts, historical documents and artefacts that illustrate the push factors behind mass departures.

Galerías de Influencia (8-18)
Galleries 8 to 18 explore the reach of Irish cultural influence worldwide and the mark emigrants made on their adopted homes. The displays span sports, inventions, music and dance, food and pub culture, and Irish-origin crime. These galleries chart how Irish contributions shaped societies across the globe, from the practical to the cultural, offering insight into the diaspora's diverse legacy.

Diaspora Hoy Galleries (19–20)

Irish Family History Centre
The Irish Family History Centre is a specialist genealogy service housed upstairs in the gift shop of EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, located in the CHQ building at Dublin's Docklands. The centre's team of expert genealogists offers personalised consultations, commissioned research and guidance on Irish citizenship, available both in person and online. From 2026, it became an official part of the EPIC family, strengthening its connection to Irish emigration heritage. What to see includes comprehensive ancestry records and one-on-one research support.
