In this audio guide, Emily Thompson takes you through Walls of Úbeda telling the story as you walk. In your accent, no need to read signs — just let your eyes take in what's in front of you.
What you'll hear inside Walls of Úbeda:

An octagonal detached tower in Úbeda that once housed the municipal treasury.
- 2Knights' Tower
Torre de los Caballeros is an open-access tower in Úbeda that functions as an interpretation centre for the medieval walls and fortifications of the town.
- 3Portillo del Santo Cristo
The Portillo del Santo Cristo is an approximate reconstruction of an ancient gateway that once formed part of Úbeda's medieval fortifications.
- 4Paseo Redonda de Miradores
A lovely walk along the southern fortifications of Úbeda, offering sweeping views across the Guadalquivir valley's vast olive groves towards the Sierra Mágina and sierra de Cazorla beyond.
- 5Alcázar Enclosure
The Recinto del Alcázar preserves archaeological remains from the original fortress, which was demolished between 1502 and 1507.
