Es un señorial y elegante edificio del Siglo XVIII construido por Francisco Miguel de Peredo en un solar de la familia Barreda. Arriba tiene un balcón de hierro sobre piedra y entre las dos puertas hay un escudo con las armas de Peredo. Actualmente es un Centro Cultural para diversos usos, con tres salas de exposiciones, una de reuniones y un salón de conferencias. También se encuentra una biblioteca, artes decorativas y plásticas. MUY RECOMENDABLE!!!!
Se trata de unos de los edificios más elegantes y singulares de la villa. El conjunto lo forman el Palacio Peredo-Barreda, las casas anexas y el espléndido jardín que las enmarca. Está construido sobre alguna antigua torre o vivienda gótica que la familia Barreda poseía en este solar. Fue construido en torno al 1700
No lo pudimos ver por dentro, una pena, parece precioso. Estuvimos en la sala de exposiciones que hay justo al lado en lo que en su tiempo fue la casa de los criados y la chica que estaba en el mostrador fue especialmente encantadora y amable. Da gusto visitar sitios así con gente tan amable
