La Torre del Merino, ubicada en Santillana del Mar, Cantabria, es una torre medieval del siglo XIV. Construida con fines defensivos, presenta una arquitectura robusta y austera. Es un testimonio del poder feudal de la época y forma parte del atractivo histórico de esta villa, famosa por su bien conservado patrimonio medieval.
Esta Torre es una de las construcciones más antiguas de la localidad, se trata de una torre del S. XIV, rematada por almenas, se encuentra en la antigua plaza del mercado. Recibe este nombre a que en este lugar era la vivienda del representante del rey y administrador de la zona conocido como el Merino Mayor.
Excelente lugar a visitar dentro de la villa, el día que hemos acudido a visitarla, ha sido un día sin visitantes así que hemos estado solos por la calle disfrutando de un día de sol excelente.
