The Simoneschi Collection at Palazzo Blu comprises an extensive assemblage gathered by collector Ottavio Simoneschi and acquired in its entirety by the Fondazione Pisa. The permanent display features paintings, ceramics, coins, antique furniture and miscellaneous antiquities, alongside woodcuts, engravings and lithographs by artist Giuseppe Viviani. Visitors can see the collection displayed across the noble apartments on the first floor of the palazzo, arranged within rooms that recreate the atmosphere of aristocratic living quarters.
