Si te gusta la historia, el arte y la arqueología, no te lo puedes perder. Es enorme, ven cómodo para andar durante muchas horas. Dentro del recinto tienes varios baños y cafeterías para tomar algo y descansar.

Unas ruinas espectaculares que no te puedes perder si visitas Nápoles. La conservación es genial, con cientos de cosas para ver. Dicho esto, es imposible visitar Pompeya en un solo día, hacen falta cómo mínimo 3. Yo solo pude estar unas horas, pero definitivamente volveré! Muy recomendable.

Excelente vista desde el Parque Arqueológico. Se observa el Monte Vesuvio. Recomiendo, conocer esta puerta marina: Es la puerta, a través de la cual, se inicia el encuentro con Pompeii. La ciudad dominaba toda la planicie hasta el mar. Hace 2.000 años. Una empinada rampa empedrada conduce a las dos arcadas de la Puerta. La de la derecha reservada a los peatones y la de la izquierda a los animales de carga y a los carros livianos que traían del mar la sal. Adosados a la Puerta, vemos restos de probables negocios. En la Puerta, aparecen los bloques cuadrados de los viejos muros, de los siglos IV-II, antes de Cristo. El volcán permanecerá activo durante siglos y siglos, hasta nuestros días. Otras ciudades serán reconstruidas ,pero Pompeii no resurgir. A pesar de las vicisitudes, se desarrolló como un modesto centro agrícola e importante núcleo industrial y comercial. El primer gran désastre sobrevino con el terrible terremoto, en el 62 antes de Cristo, redujo la ciudad, a un cúmulo de escombros. Después de esto reconstruyeron la ciudad. Cuando finalizaban sobrevivo la segunda e irreparable catástrofe:. EL VESUVIO, considerado volcán extinguido, en cuyas laderas florecían viñedos y rústicas aldeas o suntuosas residencias el 24 de agosto (24 de noviembre para los naturalistas) del 79 Después de Cristo, poco después del medio día, se despertó y se abrió con una potencia inexorablemente destructora.
