Original Pumphouse (1937)
The 1937 heart of Scapa Flow Museum at Lyness, Hoy. Original machinery is still in place, and staff cheerfully warn visitors it's a 'keep your coat on' kind of experience.

New Extension Gallery
The modern wing of Scapa Flow Museum, opened 2 July 2022 after a five-year refit. It houses new displays and artefacts never previously shown to the public.

HMS Royal Oak Wreck (war grave)
A protected war grave lying in Scapa Flow off the east coast of Mainland. The wreck holds the remains of most of the 834 men lost when she was torpedoed on 14 October 1939.

HMS Vanguard Wreck (war grave)
A protected war grave under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986, lying 34 metres down north of Flotta. All but two of the 845 men aboard were lost in this devastating accidental tragedy.

German Fleet Wreck Dive Sites
Seven scuttled Imperial German warships spread across Scapa Flow form Britain's greatest wreck-diving complex. All are scheduled monuments protected by Historic Environment Scotland.
