A partially collapsed sea cave separated from the open sea by an 80-metre land bridge. The sea still surges through the lower opening, with walls dropping some 24 metres — one of Orkney's most dramatic landscapes.
2

Covenanters' Memorial
A tall 19th-century monument on the low cliffs of Deerness, commemorating around 200 prisoners who drowned when their ship was wrecked here in 1679. Three small flat grave-markers survive nearby.
