Sinceramente uno de los mejores museos de la cultura griega, muy bien estructurado y muy completo. Edificio muy moderno situado a unos 300 metros al sur de la Acrópolis. Tiene tres plantas, desde la planta baja se pueden observar los restos arqueólogicos hallado en el edificio donde se construyó el museo. En él podremos ver el Moscóforo, relieves del frontón del Acrópolis y lo mejor son las cariátides del Erecteion.

Fantástico.! Construido sobre un suelo de cristal por lo que se puede ver restos arqueológicos de los siglos IV y VII d. C...Recorrer historia del apogeo de la Acrópolis en el siglo V a.C, ..Y sin duda las maravillosas Cariátides del Erecteion -las cinco cariátides originales, porque la sexta se encuentra en el Museo Británico de Londres y reclamada por Grecia en varias oportunidades-.. Los mármoles del Partenón, representando escenas mitológicas de Atenea -donde existen huecos para las piezas que faltan que también se encuentran en el Museo Británico de Londres- La tercera planta con su terraza hace de mirador a la Acropolis... bellísimo..

Todo lo que se diga de este museo se queda corto, de los mejores que he visitado, es increíble y el valor del contenido sobre pasa lo descriptible. Suelos acristalados en algunas plantas, diseño moderno. 20€ de entrada. Recomiendo ir por la mañana o a primera hora de la tarde para poder visitar la planta baja y ver las ruinas (están abiertas hasta que se pone el sol), de lo contrario pagas 20€ y no podrás acceder nada más que al museo propiamente dicho.
