El Monumento al Alzamiento de Varsovia, inaugurado en 1989 en la Plaza Krasiński, honra a los combatientes de la resistencia polaca de 1944. Representa en bronce escenas de lucha y de soldados emergiendo de alcantarillas, símbolo del valor y sacrificio frente a la ocupación nazi
Hay que tener paciencia para hacerte fotos en este monumento porque la fila es impresionante. Esto habla de lo interesante que es como grupo escultórico, el lugar que lo acoge y el valor histórico. Es uno de los monumentos más visitados.
Un monumento impresionante, las figuras son inmensas y perfectamente recrean a los soldados que lucharon por la liberación de Polonia, merece la pena tanto de día como de noche. Junto a esta recreación se encuentra uno de los bancos musicales, que si pulsas el botón, te deleita con una melodía del gran Chopin...una original idea, nos encantó.
