Excelente museo. Muestra obras de los mejores pintores valencianos de todas las épocas, incluyendo el gran maestro Joaquín Sorolla. Alberga también importantes colecciones de retablos góticos y pintura renacentista, y obras de artistas nacionales e internacionales de renombre como Goya, Velázquez, El Greco, Murillo, Van Dyck o El Bosco. Además de pinturas exhibe esculturas así como encontrarán dibujos y grabados, piezas arqueológicas, lujosos objetos decorativos en plata, oro o cerámica y mucho más.
Diría que no alcanza 1 día para visitarlo, si te gusta el arte ( como a mi ) lo mejor es ir dos días diferentes, así puedes ver todo con calma, me atrevería decir hasta tres. Tienes muchiiiiisiiiimos cuadros, pero son todos UNA PASADA. La gente de la recepción siempre te recibe con una sonrisa !! Muchas gracias. Está todo muy limpio y en orden. Lo bueno, es gratis!
El Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia (también conocido como San Pío V) es la pinacoteca más importante de la Comunidad Valenciana y una de las más relevantes de España por su colección de maestros antiguos y arte valenciano. Obras y Colecciones Destacadas El museo alberga cerca de 2.000 obras, destacando especialmente su colección de tablas góticas y autores de renombre internacional: Maestros Clásicos: Incluye el famoso Autorretrato de Diego Velázquez, obras de El Greco (San Juan Bautista), Goya (Juegos de niños) y Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. Artistas Valencianos: Posee una de las mejores colecciones del mundo de Joaquín Sorolla, además de obras de Pinazo, Espinosa y esculturas de Benlliure. Arquitectura: El edificio en sí es un antiguo seminario del siglo XVII que cuenta con elementos singulares como el Patio del Embajador Vich, una joya del Renacimiento reconstruida en el interior del museo. Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia San Pío V, sede la la Real Academia de San Carlos, acto protocolario de entrega de nuevo miembro. Muy recomendable.
