Magnífico edificio en el que se sincretiza estructura de estilo renacentista en el patio porticado junto a decoración de tendencia plateresca. Lo encargó el cardenal Mendoza para que funcionara como hospital dentro decoración las nuevas ideas humanistas de higiene y estética del ordenamiento urbano del renacimiento. Merece la pena la visita que, además, se puede completar con las diferentes exposiciones que se alojan en ella. Mención especial a la Anunciación del Greco
Museo Arqueologíco. Antiguo hospital de Santa Cruz. Su principal atractivo es la colección de pinturas del Greco. Entre ellos se encuentra La Inmaculada Concepción, y La Verónica de la Faz de Cristo. Es considerado uno de los mejores museos se España.
Hemos ido un Lunes, la entrada Gratuita, sin espera para ingresar, hay un par de exposiciones muy interesantes para quienes nos gustan los museos y la historia, hay bastantes pinturas de "El Greco" Afamado pintor aquí en la ciudad de Toledo. No permiten entrar comida ni bebida, merece la pena Visitarlo

Central Courtyard
A spacious central courtyard featuring restored arcades that retain distinctive capital R engravings used to identify the reconstructed sections.

A recently acquired sculpture in the city's collection, discovered in the heart of Toledo.
