Third Infiltration Tunnel

The Third Infiltration Tunnel is one of four known tunnels dug by North Korea beneath the inter-Korean border, discovered in October 1978 just 44 km from Seoul. Reportedly designed as a surprise attack route, the tunnel runs 73 metres below ground through solid rock and stretches 1.64 km in length.
