Main Hall
The Main Hall of Teatro Victoria Eugenia is the theatre's principal performance space, seating 888 guests across the stalls, dress circle, upper gallery and boxes. The venue is distinguished by its ornately frescoed vault depicting scenes of local customs and traditions, whilst the deep red upholstered seats create the hall's distinctive character. This remains the cultural heart of San Sebastián's performing arts scene.

Royal Stand
The Palco Real is the principal box at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia, located on the first floor of the main auditorium. It's accessed via the theatre's grand entrance staircase. Historically reserved for the Spanish Royal Family and dignitaries, this ornate box remains one of the theatre's most distinguished features. Visitors can view it as part of a tour of this early 20th-century venue in San Sebastián.

Sala Club
Sala Club is a versatile event space beneath the Teatro Victoria Eugenia, spanning 229 m² and accommodating up to 180 people standing or 120 seated. What to see here ranges across a varied programme: live music, theatre productions, conferences, seminars, talks and banquets. It's a flexible venue suited to different occasions and gatherings in San Sebastián.

Dance and Ballet Hall
The Sala de Danza y Ballet is a multipurpose 210 m² studio located on the roof of the Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebastián. Built during the theatre's 2001–2007 renovation, it accommodates up to 80 people and serves as a venue for dance classes, lectures and meetings. The space is available to hire for associations, public and private organisations, and individuals.

Vault Painted by Ignacio Ugarte
The vaulted ceiling of Teatro Victoria Eugenia's main hall was painted by San Sebastián-born artist Ignacio Ugarte (1862–1914), a pioneering figure in Basque realist tradition. His frescos blend mythological figures with everyday scenes from early 20th-century San Sebastián, creating a distinctive composition that captures the city's character and daily life of that era. A remarkable artistic achievement worth seeing during your visit.

Staircase of Honour
The Escalera de Honor forms the centrepiece of the Teatro Victoria Eugenia's main foyer, a marble staircase designed to welcome visitors into the theatre's magnificent interior. Built to strict specifications outlined in the original construction conditions, it can be accessed from the principal façade through three grand archways. This impressive entrance sets the tone for what lies beyond.

Terrace with Views of the Urumea
The terrace at Teatro Victoria Eugenia overlooks the Urumea river and affords fine views of the surrounding area, including the striking Palacio Kursaal. The terrace was renovated as part of the theatre's broader rehabilitation work, which took place between 2001 and 2007. It's a pleasant spot to visit and take in the riverside setting.
