Sculpture Garden
Chillida Leku is a sculpture garden in San Sebastián where Eduardo Chillida's works are positioned amongst beech, oak and magnolia trees. The sculptures are dispersed across grassland and pathways, blending seamlessly into the natural landscape as though they've always been there. As you visit this outdoor space, you'll encounter the pieces gradually during your walk, experiencing how the artist's work and nature exist in continuous conversation with one another.

Caserío Zabalaga – Ground Floor
The ground floor of Caserío Zabalaga is the largest exhibition space within the complex, a spacious open-plan area displaying Eduardo Chillida's most substantial indoor works. These pieces are crafted from materials—wood, alabaster and wool—that would not withstand San Sebastián's outdoor climate. The restoration of the wooden elements at this level is itself remarkable; visitors often note that the craftsmanship of the restoration matches the significance of the artworks it houses.

Zabalaga Farmhouse – First Floor
The ground floor of Caserío Zabalaga is the largest exhibition space within the historic farmhouse. Following traditional Basque architecture, this lower level originally housed grain stores, livestock stalls and farm buildings. Today, following sympathetic restoration, the space has been transformed into a museum, preserving the building's agricultural heritage whilst opening it to visitors. What to see here reflects the working life of rural San Sebastián in centuries past.

Archive and Library
Within the Chillida Leku museum, this archive and library holds an extensive collection of documents, photographs and sketches that shed light on Eduardo Chillida's creative process. It's designed for those keen to deepen their understanding of the sculptor's work, providing access to materials that reveal the ideas and concepts behind his most celebrated pieces. A valuable resource for gaining insight into how one of Spain's foremost sculptors developed his distinctive vision.

Cafetería
Lurra Cafe is the café within Chillida Leku museum, situated inside the 16th-century caserío Zabalaga that houses the exhibition space. The name "Lurra" means "the earth" in Euskera, reflecting both the museum's and the café's philosophy of connection to the local territory. It's an ideal spot to pause during your visit and enjoy refreshment surrounded by art and heritage.
