Farmhouse Vendor Stalls (Baserritarras)
The Puestos de Caseras (baserritarras) are a dozen open-air stalls sheltered along San Juan Street, where farm women from local homesteads sell fresh produce—vegetables, cheeses, flowers and other local goods. They're among the most distinctive sights in La Bretxa Market, drawing both San Sebastián residents and visitors. What to see here are genuine farmhouse products sold directly by the producers themselves.

Fish Market Building (1928)
The Edificio de la Pescadería, completed in 1928 by architect Juan Rafael Alday, stands as a distinct structure within San Sebastián's market complex. Its striking features include external staircases serving the upper floors, restrained pilasters, and distinctive rusticated stonework at the base and corners. The building is currently undergoing renovation to relocate the traditional market stalls to ground level, breathing new life into this early twentieth-century landmark.
