The attic exhibition space is a newly fitted gallery on the upper floor of the Basque Maritime Museum building, completed following refurbishment work between late 2018 and early 2019. This addition expanded the museum's exhibition capacity, providing a dedicated space for long-running temporary displays. Specialized Library

The Museo Marítimo Vasco's specialist library occupies the upper floor of the building and welcomes visitors keen to access its collections.
