Farm Lake
Lago de la finca is a central feature of the landscaped grounds at the Royal Manor of Bygdøy in Oslo. The lake took its present form following a 19th-century royal intervention that reshaped the estate's designed landscape. It remains an integral part of the mansion's parkland setting and offers visitors a pleasant spot to visit whilst exploring the historic grounds.
King's Forest
Kongeskogen, or the King's Forest, comprises the coastal woodlands of the Bygdøy Kongsgård royal estate with direct access to the waterfront. This extensive deciduous forest forms part of the royal property's roughly 200 hectares of woods and agricultural land. The setting offers a pleasant visit through mature trees and open countryside, just a short distance from Oslo's centre. Visitors can explore the natural landscape whilst enjoying views across the water and experiencing the working estate that has served Norwegian royalty for centuries.
