Fue muy interesante conocer el museo, para la gente que le guste el arte es una experiencia única de uno de los pintores más conocidos de la región.
El Museo Ramón Gaya es un espacio cultural íntimo y excepcional dedicado a la obra y el legado de uno de los más importantes pintores y ensayistas murcianos del siglo XX. Ubicado en una bella casa señorial del siglo XIX junto al río Segura, el museo alberga una colección permanente de más de cien obras del artista que abarcan toda su trayectoria creativa, desde sus inicios hasta su madurez artística. Las salas expositivas son luminosas y están cuidadosamente diseñadas para poner en valor las pinturas y dibujos. Además de la obra de Gaya, el museo organiza exposiciones temporales de gran calidad. El edificio en sí mismo es una joya arquitectónica con su patio interior y escalera señorial. La entrada es gratuita. Un museo imprescindible para conocer la obra de este gran maestro murciano.
No conocíamos al pintor Ramón Gaya pero nos recomendaron visitar el museo y no nos defraudó. La exposición es amena, presenta la vida y obra de un artista que sufrió los rigores de la dictadura por su forma de pensar y vivir. El edificio merece mención aparte, sobre todo esa escalera, casi mágica, que lleva de una planta a otra.
