Maravillosa visita al Museo Arqueológico. Es fundamental detenerse a leer la historia que se narra en sus muros y apreciar la evolución de las monedas, vasijas y entierros, así como nuestro propio desarrollo humano a lo largo del tiempo. La entrada es gratuita, pero es importante asistir dentro de los horarios establecidos. El día de mi visita, la zona al aire libre no se encontraba habilitada debido a la lluvia, pero aun así la experiencia fue totalmente recomendable. Le dejo algunos registros.

Visité el Museo Arqueológico de Murcia en una mañana de sábado y la experiencia fue estupenda desde la llegada: está en plena Gran Vía Alfonso X, en un edificio elegante de la antigua Casa de la Cultura que invita a entrar sin prisas. El acceso fue ágil, con personal amable en recepción y material informativo bien presentado, y se agradece la sensación de orden y limpieza en todo el espacio. El ambiente es tranquilo y permite disfrutar de cada sala sin agobios, ideal para quienes disfrutan recorriendo museos a su ritmo. El recorrido está muy bien hilado, avanzando desde la prehistoria hasta la época medieval con piezas destacadas de la Región: cerámicas ibéricas, ajuares, esculturas, utensilios metálicos, mosaicos romanos y una cuidada colección de monedas que ayudan a entender la evolución de las sociedades. La museografía es clara, con vitrinas bien iluminadas, paneles didácticos y recursos audiovisuales que hacen la visita amena sin saturar. Me encontré además con una exposición temporal que complementaba la permanente y aportaba un enfoque muy actual a temas arqueológicos, algo que le da vida al conjunto. Como consejo, reservar entre 60 y 90 minutos permite verlo con calma y dedicar un rato a las salas que más interesen. Es un plan muy recomendable en familia: hay contenidos accesibles para peques y actividades puntuales que suelen engancharles. La accesibilidad está bien resuelta con ascensor y rampas, y la ubicación céntrica facilita combinar la visita con un paseo por la Gran Vía y una parada en alguna cafetería cercana. Salí con la sensación de haber entendido mejor la historia de Murcia a través de piezas auténticas y muy bien presentadas.

Como en la mayoría de museos, fuimos un domingo y era gratuito. Me impresionó la gran cantidad de piezas que tenían. Algunas de ellas procedentes de Orihuela y Callosa, quizá deberían estar mejor en un museo de Alicante 🙄
