Alter Peter Tower (Viewpoint)
At 56 metres up, this viewpoint offers one of Munich's finest panoramas, taking in the Old Town, Marienplatz and, on a clear föhn day, the Alps. Access is via around 306 steep, narrow steps — not recommended for those with vertigo or limited mobility.

Baroque High Altar
A masterpiece of ecclesiastical art in Peterskirche, built between 1730 and 1734. At its centre stands a gilded figure of St Peter wearing a removable tiara, an original work by Erasmus Grasser dating from the late 15th century.

Chapel of Saint Munditia
In the second chapel on the left of Peterskirche lies the body of Saint Munditia, a Roman catacomb saint, displayed in a glass coffin. The skeleton is covered in gold and precious stones, and the figure holds a small vial said to contain her own blood.

Reliquary of Saint Munditia
In the second chapel on the left of Peterskirche rests the reliquary of Saint Munditia, a catacomb saint who lived in Rome around 250 AD. Her remains are visible in a glass coffin, the skeleton gilded and adorned with precious stones.
