Son 311 escalones que de primeras pueden asustar, pero se suben muy fácilmente, son escaleras fáciles. Las vistas increíbles y está protegido con una malla para evitar caídas. Al llegar abajo te entregan un diploma por haber conseguido subir al monumento.

Imponente colimna dorica en conmemoracion del gran incendio de la ciudad en el año 1666 y su posterior reconstrucción. Tiene una altura de 61 metros y se asciende a través de su escalera caracol de 311 alzadas. Desde su parte superior se pueden obtener hermosas vistas de la ciudad de Londres

El Monument to the Great Fire of London me pareció muy interesante. Es una columna alta y elegante que destaca entre los edificios modernos alrededor, pero al mismo tiempo tiene ese aire clásico que la hace especial. Me gustó saber que marca el lugar del gran incendio y que todo tiene un significado histórico. Aunque es sencillo en diseño, impone bastante cuando lo ves en persona.
