Es una iglesia parroquial dedicada a San Martín de Tours. Fue construida en estilo neoclásico entre 1722 y 1726 por el arquitecto James Gibbs. Se construyó para sustituir a una iglesia medieval que se encontraba en el mismo lugar cuando esta comenzó a tener grandes desperfectos. En aquella época, este lugar eran tierras de labranza y campos situados más allá de la muralla de Londres.
Espectacularmente bonita ...esta iglesia está justo en frente de la mítica plaza de Trafalgar ...gran batalla librada en el mar mediterráneo en Andalucía....bonita calle para pasear y evadirse un poco de los grandes rascacielos ...buenos bares alrededor para disfrutar de un buen ambiente
Un lugar muy bonito para visitar, sobre todo para bajar a la Cripta, tiene una cafetería, una tienda y fácil acceso por ascensor. Es preciosa y merece la pena visitarla.
