Asistí a la Iluminación nocturna de otoño que anunciaban los panfletos en la tarde. Es el único templo budista que queda de pie de los 3 primeros que se construyeron en la ciudad. Su pagoda es la más alta de Japón con alrededor de 50 metros de altura. Un lugar fascinante.
Impresionante iluminación de los magníficos jardines. De lo mejor para hacer culturalmente en esta ciudad por la noche. No pueden perderse las tríadas dentro de los edificios del recinto. 100% recomendable
Lo vi con la iluminación de otoño y es una preciosidad, había mucha gente a pesar de ser lunes, me imagino que es normal por las fechas. No se puede comprar la entrada o línea, solo allí, si vas a primera hora,abren a las 18 hay cola pero va rápido.

Five-Storey Pagoda
Standing at 55 metres tall, this is Japan's highest pagoda and an iconic symbol of Kyoto. Its interior features intricate esoteric Buddhist illustrations.

Kondo (Main Hall)
A wooden structure built in 1603 that blends native Japanese, Chinese and Indian architectural styles. Inside are enshrined statues of Yakushi, the Medicine Buddha, flanked by his attendants Nikko and Gakko.

Kodo Conference Hall
A sixteenth-century red lacquered hall housing twenty-one sacred images arranged in a mandala pattern, depicting Buddhas, bodhisattvas and deities.

Nandaimon Gate
This eight-pillared gate was relocated from Sanjusangendo Temple in 1894 following the destruction of the original structure.

Azekura Storehouse
A wooden structure built without nails in 1197, housing an extensive collection of Buddhist art brought from China.

Founder's Hall (Meido)
A 14th-century building dating from 1380 where Kobo Daishi once resided. It houses a 13th-century statue of the founder, displayed each month on the 21st.

Homotsu-kan
A contemporary concrete building that displays the treasures of Toji through special exhibitions held twice yearly.

Kanchi-in
A 14th-century sub-temple featuring a beautiful garden and an ink painting of the swordsman Miyamoto Musashi.
