Imprescindible: Un Santuario de Paz y Belleza en Arashiyama El Templo Tenryu-ji es, sin duda, una visita obligada si estás en Kioto, especialmente si planeas ir al famoso bosque de bambú de Arashiyama. Desde el momento en que cruzas la entrada, sientes una atmósfera de paz inigualable. El templo en sí es una joya de la escuela Rinzai del Budismo Zen, pero lo que realmente te roba el aliento es su Jardín Sogenchi Teien. Este jardín, diseñado en el siglo XIV, es una obra maestra del paisajismo japonés que ha mantenido su diseño original. Pasear por los alrededores del estanque es una experiencia meditativa, con las montañas de Arashiyama sirviendo de telón de fondo. La forma en que las rocas, el agua y la vegetación se combinan cambia constantemente con la luz, ofreciendo vistas espectaculares en cada rincón. Mi recomendación: Dedica tiempo a pasear lentamente por el jardín antes de entrar en los edificios del templo. Si vas en otoño, el colorido del momiji (hojas de arce) es simplemente mágico, pero en cualquier época del año, la belleza del lugar es absoluta. ¡Una experiencia de 5 estrellas para el alma!

Tal vez el templo jardín más hermoso de Kyoto aunque la belleza es subjetiva. Lo objetivo es que tiene muchísima historia dentro de los 5 Grandes Templos Zen y es un sitio Patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO.

Zona jardín muy bonita, pudimos ver alguna hoja rogiza que le quedaba precioso al pasiaje y paseo corto pero agradable. El templo está en una zona muy bonita y cerca del bosque de bambú
