Super lindo lugar, un poco de miedo al dejar los zapatos en la entrada pero por suerte al regresar aun estaba ahi Xd. Muy bonitos paisajes, tuvimos la suerte de visitar en una exhibición de aniversario del mural de los dragones gemelos así que había muchos souvenirs para poder adquirir de ellos. El lugar esta "dividido" en dos, una parte entras descalzo y en la otra tienes que usar las sandalias del lugar para ir al otro pabellón. Una experiencia muy bonita y tranquila.
🌿 Templo Kennin-ji: Un remanso de paz en el corazón de Kioto Hay lugares que no sólo se visitan, se sienten. El Templo Kennin-ji, escondido entre las calles tradicionales del barrio de Gion, es uno de esos rincones donde el alma respira. Fundado en 1202, es el templo zen más antiguo de Kioto, y aun así, parece que el tiempo se detiene al cruzar su entrada. Lo primero que se percibe es el silencio. No uno vacío, sino un silencio lleno de calma, de historia, de naturaleza. Los jardines zen invitan a la contemplación, especialmente el Taiyu-en y el jardín ◎△□, que representa el universo con formas geométricas simples pero profundas. En su interior, el arte te envuelve. El techo del salón principal muestra dos dragones monumentales en blanco y negro, pintados con tinta sobre papel japonés. Imposible no quedarse mirando. También se conserva el icónico biombo de los dioses del viento y del trueno, un tesoro nacional por derecho propio. Además, hay una conexión especial con la ceremonia del té: Eisai, fundador del templo, fue quien introdujo el té verde en Japón. Un templo budista con estructuras muy bonitas, jardines elegantes que me recuerdan a una casa Samurai. Tiene una pintura de Dragones Gemelos en el techo que se hizo hace pocos años y le ha dado un toque personal entre tantos templos similares.
