El jardín de Kenroku en es un parque muy amplio y agradable, perfecto para pasear en familia, incluso con un bebé. Tiene un lago monísimo que le da un toque especial, y hay varias casas de té, pero la que da al lago, particular es ideal para hacer una pausa y relajarse de verdad. Si vas con carrito, es factible: solo tienes que fijarte en el camino, porque hay zonas con escaleras, pero también rutas alternativas sin ellas. Además, al salir por el lado que baja hacia la estación, llegas a un templo pequeño y encantador que le pone el broche final a la visita. Un plan redondo si buscas naturaleza, paz y un paseo bonito en Kanazawa.
Ideal para caminar, respirar aire puro y sacar fotos.
Uno de los castillos más bonitos de Japón rodeado por amplios jardines propios y pegado al Kenroku en. Algunas ventanas recuerdan a la armadura de un Samurai. Merece la pena entrar a visitar su interior donde te explican las técnicas de construcción y la historia. Están de obras de restauración .

Ishikawa Gate
The most prominent historic entrance to Kanazawa Castle, featuring a bridge that spans the moat leading to the watchtower.
Hishi Yagura Tower
A three-storey watchtower standing 17 metres tall, known as the 'diamond tower' for its diamond-shaped internal pillars. It is the tallest and most iconic structure within the castle.
Hashizume-mon Tsuzuki Yagura
A three-storey watchtower and command post positioned above the rear gate. It commands panoramic views across the castle grounds and surrounding landscape.
Gojukken Nagaya
A two-storey samurai weapons storehouse measuring 50 metres in length. Remarkable for its traditional construction technique using no nails or screws, and designed to serve as a defensive fortification wall.
Almacén Sanjukken Nagaya
A two-storey warehouse tower built in 1858 and designated as a National Cultural Property. Access is gained by crossing the Gokuraku Bridge.
Tsurumaru Soko
A Meiji-era arsenal storehouse with earthen walls, housing military equipment and uniforms. Designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
San-no-maru
A vast open space that once served as the residential quarters of samurai. The site is home to the Kyujukken Nagaya, a historic storehouse built to house weapons.
Ni-no-maru
The second line of defence of the castle, enclosed by a 530-metre perimeter wall. Originally the residence of the feudal lords, it now serves as a park in the central area of the castle complex.
Hon-maru Forest
The former principal enclosure of Kanazawa Castle, which once housed the keep. Following a fire in 1602, this historic area has transformed into a woodland space open to visitors.
Kahoku-mon Gate
One of the three principal gateways to the castle, rebuilt in 2010. It forms part of the castle's sophisticated defensive system.
Hashizume-mon Gate
A masugata gate complex featuring an entrance gate, guardhouse, and earthen-walled enclosure. Reconstructed in 2015 using traditional building methods.
Gyokusen'inmaru Garden
A 17th-century garden faithfully reconstructed within the castle park, originally created for the enjoyment of the feudal lord.
