Mountain Memorial Cathedral

Catedral Memorial de la Montaña is a Catholic church built atop a carved rock at the summit of Seungamsan mountain in Jeonju, dominated by a stone cross approximately 4 metres in height. The church houses the remains of martyrs Yu Jung-cheol (Juan) and Lee Sun-i (Rugalda), along with other family members. What to see here includes the distinctive rock foundation and the memorial shrine dedicated to these Korean Catholic martyrs.
