Süreyya Opera House
Built between 1923 and 1926 on Kadıköy's Bahariye Street, the Süreyya Opera House was the first musical theatre on Istanbul's Asian shore. After decades as a cinema, it reopened as an opera house in December 2007.

Hemdat Israel Synagogue
An active Sephardic synagogue on Izzettin Street in Yeldeğirmeni, built in brick in 1899. One of Kadıköy's most significant traces of Jewish heritage; visits can be arranged through the Chief Rabbinate of Turkey.

Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium
Home ground of Fenerbahçe SK in the Kadıköy district, with a capacity of around 50,500. Commercially known as Chobani Stadyumu, it was Turkey's first stadium built to FIFA standards.

Hasanpaşa Gasworks (museo)
Opened in 2021 on the site of an 1892 Ottoman gasworks, Müze Gazhane spans 30,000 m² and houses a science and technology museum, cartoon gallery, two theatre spaces, a library, café and restaurant.
