Unos baños bien conservados y restaurados. Junto con la Catedral, el Alcazar, la sinagoga, el puente etc son imprescindibles en una visita cultural al centro histórico de Córdoba.
Antiguos baños árabes del Alcázar muy bien conservados. Fueron construidos por el Califa durante la época del al-Ándalus. Se trata de una visita breve pero curiosa. Perfecto para una pausa en el camino. La entrada cuesta 3 euros. El recorrido se hace en unos 20 minutos. Al principio te ponen una proyección cinematográfica para que entiendas el contexto histórico del Hammam. Visitas las distintas estancias de los baños en los cuales hay carteles descriptivos de cada zona. Si tienes alguna duda puedes preguntarle a un chico francés que trabaja como guía. Cuando le hice una consulta me la explicó con todo tipo de detalles y con pasión. Se nota que lo vive y lo ha estudiado a fondo. ¡Experiencia interesante!

The entrance and changing room of the 10th-century caliphal bathhouse, with direct access from the main portico.
Cold Room (Bayt al-Barid)
The first chamber of the caliph's bath, where spiritual purification took place through ritual ablutions with cold water before and after bathing.
Sala templada califal (Bayt al-Wastany)
The principal chamber of the caliphal bathhouse, lavishly decorated, where the caliph received massage and personal care. It retains a vaulted ceiling adorned with star-shaped skylights.
Caliph's Hot Bath (Bayt al-Sajun)
A rectangular chamber equipped with hot water basins and an underground hypocaust system. This room witnessed two regicides during the collapse of the Caliphate.
Taifa Reception Hall
An 11th-century porticoed hall built by the taifa kings, preceded by a garden with fountains and adorned with ornamental plasterwork featuring arabesques.
Andalusian Garden of the Taifa Hall
A landscaped garden divided into four sections by water channels, situated in front of the eleventh-century Taifa reception hall.
Almohad Cold Room
A twelfth-century brick chamber with a square floor plan, featuring a central basin adorned with green and white tilework, and access to a rest area.
Almohad Heated Room
A chamber divided into two spaces, each with distinct vaulting and original marble flooring, illuminated by star-shaped skylights.
Almohad Hot Room
A twelfth-century rectangular chamber featuring a barrel vault and an oriental immersion basin, bearing traces of later Christian modifications.
Furnace and Boiler Room
Original heating system located between the hot rooms, featuring a brick furnace fuelled by wood and bronze boilers.
