Primer día de visitas a la Casa del Duque. Sí,se ha abierto al público y por fin se puede conocer el interior de esa casa de estilo inglés que tantos años he visto desde el parque. Se visitan las cocinas, la planta calle y el primer piso. Impresionante la escalera en madera traída de la antigua colonia de Fernando Poo. Detalles por cualquier rincón. Empapelados, porcelanas de Limoges y de Cantabria,chimeneas, tapicerías de la época,bordados, fotos reales.. inmersión a principios del siglo XX. No te la puedes perder. La guía muy bien . En agosto no se puede visitar
Se puede concertar visita los sábados por la tarde, te hacen poner patucos de plástico por lo que el suelo resulta algo resbaladizo, no recomendable para personas con movilidad reducida,...
Inmersión en la historia de Comillas y de Cantabria, cuenta con muestras de artesanía regional y de ultramar. Hermosa construcción de estilo inglés del s.XX perteneciente a una familia asociada a la política española. La visita se realiza tanto en exteriores como interior (donde no se permiten fotos). Temporada de Septiembre a Julio, sobre todo fines de semana, previa reserva. Coste 10€. Duración 1 hora. Zona con escaso aparcamiento. Accesibilidad limitada por escaleras. Apto para todos los públicos.
