Este cementerio con una historia digna de conocer,a la que se puede acceder en la wiki de Comillas, tiene un continente bastante interesante al ser una antigua iglesia parroquial del siglo XV/XVI . En 1893 al arquitecto Lluís Domenech se le encarga la ampliación del mismo que mantiene los arcos y restos de ruinas de la iglesia, añadiendo muros y lo mas característico la fachada que da entrada al cementerio y que fue declarada BIC en 1983,también varios mausoleos. Pero lo mas característico es el Angel Exterminador. estas obras son del escultor catalán Josep Llimona El contenido, mausoleos y panteones diversos, llama la atencion la zona especial dedicada a los niños. Una visita que complementa el resto de las otras edificaciones singulares de Comillas
Un lugar único con unas vistas espectaculares al mar. Si vas de visita a Comillas es fundamental venir a ver el cementerio ya que es totalmente distinto a otros. Es una parte extremadamente bella de Comillas. Totalmente recomendable 🤌🏻.
Cementerio muy atractivo del Modernismo Catalán de Domenc i Montaner, combinando con las ruinas Barrocas del lugar. Destaca el Ángel Exterminador de Josep Limonada que vigila el lugar. El enclave es un lugar privilegiado, con vistas impresionantes. Dentro encontramos multitud de mausoleos, tumbas... de gran calidad. Lugar digno de un paseo.
