Precioso museo naval, en el podemos descubrir la historia de la marina y en especial la de Cartagena. Cuenta con infinidad de piezas de toda clase y época, artillería, minas, sanidad, uniformes y un largo etcétera. Está ubicado en un edificio del siglo XVIII, acceso gratis aunque te pedirán una aportación voluntaria (solo con tarjeta). Cuenta con aseos y tienda. Merece la pena una visita.
Bueno, a ver…el Museo Naval de Cartagena me ha encantado muchísimo. Desde que entras ya huele a historia (y no de la aburrida), sino de la buena, de barcos, marineros y cosas que hacen “wow”. El edificio ya impone, parece de película, y por dentro todo está muy bien cuidado, limpio y con esas vitrinas que te dan ganas de no tocar… pero un poco sí. Lo mejor sin duda es el submarino Peral, que es gigante y parece salido del futuro aunque lo hicieron hace un montón de años. Te quedas mirándolo y piensas: “¿cómo metían a la gente ahí?”. También hay maquetas de barcos, uniformes, brújulas antiguas y un montón de objetos que te hacen sentir en mitad de una aventura marítima. Los carteles explican todo bastante bien (aunque yo me perdí un poco, pero eso es culpa mía 😅) y el personal muy amable En resumen: si vas a Cartagena y no entras al Museo Naval, te pierdes una joya. Es interesante, bonito y encima gratis, que eso ya es casi milagro. Yo salí de allí sintiéndome casi capitán de barco… aunque luego me subí al coche y me costó aparcar, pero bueno, eso ya es otra historia.
Nos sorprendió mucho para bien y además gratuito (no sé si siempre o porque eran las fiestas de Cartagena). Muy buena organización y completo. Sin duda visita muy recomendada. Muy chulo ver todas las maquetas de los barcos, las banderas, el funcionamiento, demás componentes y luego toda la parte del submarino. Chulisimo y sorprendente para bien.
