Sin lugar a dudas uno de los mejores museos militares de España. Situado en el centro del Cartagena, su entrada es gratuita, si quieres puedes donar algo en una urna. Cuenta con dos plantas y un patio exterior. Uno tiene que ir con tiempo para admirar las miles de piezas con las que cuenta, todo lo que te puedas imaginar relacionado con el ejército, tanques, cañones, armamento, uniformes y un largo etcétera. Además en varias salas conoceremos la historia militar de Cartagena, mediante videos, paneles y locuciones. Es accesible, cuenta con aseos y el personal muy amable y colaborativo. Visita obligada en Cartagena, no te defraudará.
Éste museo es de obligada visita si pasas por Cartagena, el horario es de Lunes a Sábado de 9am a 13:30h y la entrada es gratuita. Hay una pequeña urna para donar la voluntad a cambio de la visita. Cuando acabas de verlo todo y pasas por la puerta de entrada/salida no acabas de entender q sea gratuito, he ido a otros museos con mucho menos material y sí cobran entrada, además q baratos no son. El edificio donde se alberga el museo fue construido en el S.XVIII, fue el Real Parque y Maestrasza de Artillería. Defendió la ciudad de Cartagena, el puerto y todo el litoral. La sola visita al histórico edificio ya merece la pena, el resto es una pasada. Cuando ves los tanques, nada q decir de los niños, la experiencia es inmejorable. Todo tipo de municiones, armas largas, cortas, subfusiles, uniformes, el despacho del Coronel, la Capilla... La sala de las miniaturas no se puede explicar, tiene 3 récord Guinnes por tener más de 2800 piezas expuestas a todo detalle, de diferentes países.
Muy recomendable la visita para quienes aprecien lo militar y todas sus herramientas e útiles preciados. La visita es gratuita y es posible dejar un donativo. Tiene un amplio circuito de visita de dos plantas con vídeos explicativos muy interesantes. Lo recomiendo sin duda.
