Monumento realizado en el año 1965 por el escultor Manuel Ardil Pagán en honor al general cartaginés Asdrúbal el Bello, fundador de la ciudad de Cartagena en el año 227 a.C. El conjunto está compuesto por un busto de Asdrúbal sobre un pedestal de piedra con una placa conmemorativa
Diario de un curioso. Sábado, 4 de marzo de 2023, 12h 58'. En la base del monumento hay un epígrafe en el que podemos leer: "Asdrúbal El Bello, general cathaginés, fundó esta ciudad con el nombre de Qart Hadasht el CCXXIX a.C. Cargagena en el año MMXV, honra su memoria."
