Castillo queda la torre del homenaje y aljibes rideado de muralla y con unos jardines maravillosos, pagas una entrada de 4 eur y disfrutas de tidas las vistas de la ciudad con sus paneles explicativos y un par de videos muy apropiados, otro imprescindible de visitar Cartagena. Le dedicas un buen rato desde la altura tienes vistas 360 de toda la ciudad que tiene mucho que apreciar varios fuertes ,castillos, antigüedades romanas y edificios modernistas todo un espectáculo, repito sube y aprovecha todo lo que tiene la visita. Imprescindible en Cartagena
Hemos visitado el castillo de la Concepción en Cartagena. Alejandro, el guía del recinto, nos acompañó en la visita guiada, gratuíta y muy recomendable. El castillo concentra la milenaria historia de esta capital: de los púnicos a la actualidad. De la mano de Alejandro hemoc conocido la evolución de la población, sus hitos, cambios arquitectónicos y los principales edificios, montañas, castillos, cuarteles y empresas cartageneros. Nuestras dos hijas menores de edad lo han pasado genial, lo ha hecho muy ameno. Gracias por pensar en las personas con problemas de movilidad. Recomendable visita si lo hace a Cartagena. Coincidió nuestra visita con una exposición sobre Leonardo Da Vinci y sus inventos y pinturas. Se puede subir a pie (por escaleras o carretera) o a través del ascensor panorámico de Cartagena. El recorrido puede ser un poco complicado para personas con dificultades de movilidad. Desde el castillo hay unas vistas panorámicas insuperables de Cartagena. El castillo está bastante bien cuidado. La colección de objetos en el interior no era muy amplia, pero es posible conocer la evolución de la zona a lo largo de la historia. Por poner una pega, los baños públicos de fuera daban literalmente asco. No funcionaban las cisternas y estaban muy sucios. Por lo demás, es una visita que merece la pena hacer, y si es a pie, merece la pena visitar el Parque Torres alrededor del Castillo, con sus vistas, su estanque de patos y lleno de pavos reales.
