Mipo Station

Rainbow Tunnel
Túnel Arcoíris is a permanent art installation housed within an original concrete railway tunnel, situated approximately 450 metres from Mipo Station in Busan. The work transforms the tunnel into an immersive chromatic experience, creating distinct visual effects for both train passengers and pedestrians using the coastal pathway. This inventive intervention breathes new life into disused railway infrastructure, offering visitors a striking encounter with contemporary art in an unexpected setting.
Haeundae Beach Train
The Haeundae Beach Train is a scenic tourist railway running 4.8 kilometres along the coast between Mipo and Songjeong stations, with six stops scattered along the shoreline. Seating is arranged in two long rows of benches facing full-length windows, designed to make the most of the coastal and mountain views. It holds the distinction of being the world's first battery-powered ecological train of its kind.
