Baroque Cloister
The museum's central four-storey Baroque cloister, once part of the Jesuit College of San Andrés, houses the iconic Idol of Mikeldi and connects the museum's various galleries.

Idol of Mikeldi
An Iron Age sandstone zoomorphic sculpture (5th–1st centuries BC) depicting a boar with a disc between its legs — the star exhibit and most iconic piece in the Basque Museum.

Archaeology Galleries
Located on the second floor of the Basque Museum, these galleries are dedicated to prehistory and the archaeology of Bizkaia, displaying the region's earliest known remains.

Consulate Rooms
Occupying the third floor of the Basque Museum, these rooms display furniture and artefacts from Bilbao's historic trading institution, founded in 1511, including the original Audience Chamber fittings.

Cruz de Kurutziaga
A replica of the famous 15th–16th-century wayside cross from Durango, standing 4.30 metres tall and carved in sandstone with intricate late Gothic iconography. The original is held at the Basque Museum.
