El Parque Treptower en Berlín es uno de esos espacios que combinan historia, naturaleza y buen rollo como pocos. Está al borde del río Spree, en el barrio de Alt-Treptow, y ocupa unas 84-90 hectáreas: espacio de sobra para visitar tranquilamente, pasear o incluso ir a correr. Lo que yo más destacaría sería la ribera del Spree, los senderos sombreados por árboles, amplias praderas para tumbarse, y rincones tranquilos ideales para descansar.  Dentro del parque hay varios puntos: el Monumento de Guerra Soviético, conmemorando a los soldados caídos en la Batalla de Berlín, que es imponente. También está el Observatorio Archenhold, casa del telescopio refractor en movimiento más largo del mundo, y la “Insel der Jugend” (“Isla de la Juventud”), accesible por un bonito puente. Para pasar el día: puedes hacer picnic, pasear, remar en el río, tomar algo en el biergarten Zenner, contemplar el atardecer, o simplemente pasear. Si estás en Berlín y quieres sentir un poco de verde, historia y calma todo junto, Treptower Park es un lugar que debes visitar.

Hay que buscar este cementerio y monumento dentro del parque Treptower ya que es muy impresionante en su diseño y dimensiones pero sobretodo por el significado histórico de ser el cementerio fuera de la ex URSS que tiene más tumbas de soldados soviéticos.

Treptower Park, es un parque muy famoso en Berlín. Debido a su inmensidad, también lo atraviesa río Spree y tiene un memorial super imponente que me recordó de alguna manera a los jardines de Luxemburgo. Los fines de semana sobretodo de realizan una gran cantidad de actividades (todo lo que puedas imaginar) es super para ir a recorrerlo o también solo ir a estar sentado un momento.
