Hemony Brothers' Carillon
The carillon of the Westertoren was created by master bell-founders Pieter (1619–1680) and François Hemony (1609–1667) and completed in 1658. It is one of four carillons by these renowned craftsmen that can be heard across Amsterdam, with its sound beautifully resonated by the local brick construction of the tower.

Imperial Crown (spire)
The gilded imperial crown topping the Westertoren's spire is one of Amsterdam's most iconic symbols, drawn from the city's coat of arms and granted by Archduke Maximilian I in 1489. Today it adorns lampposts and street furniture across the city.

Rembrandt Memorial Plaque
A bronze plaque inside the Westerkerk, on the left wall of the north aisle, marks the approximate burial spot of Rembrandt van Rijn. It remains the only physical reminder of the Dutch master's resting place, whose exact grave is still unknown.
