Hotel Spaander
A historic hotel facing Volendam's famous dyke, Hotel Spaander houses over 1,300 original artworks — many left by artists in lieu of payment — blending working inn with living museum across rooms spanning the late 19th to early 21st century.

Chapel of Our Lady of the Waters
The Chapel of Our Lady of the Waters is a site of Marian devotion located within one of Volendam's parks, deeply rooted in the town's strong Catholic tradition. Its presence reflects the central role that Catholic faith has historically played in shaping the identity and culture of this community.

Het Doolhof (The Maze)
Het Doolhof — meaning 'labyrinth' — is the oldest part of Volendam, tucked directly behind the dyke. Its narrow alleyways and original houses follow no fixed street pattern, giving rise to its name and creating a wonderfully organic, irregular layout.

Stolphoevekerk
Also known as the Stolpkerk or Hervormde Kerk, this Reformed church in central Volendam dates from 1658. Built entirely of wood with an unusual square floor plan, it stands quite apart from conventional religious architecture.

Sint-Vincentiuskerk
A striking Neo-Gothic Catholic church at Kerkepad 1, close to Volendam's harbour, dedicated to Saint Vincent de Paul. Built in 1860, it is the second oldest church in the village and has been extended and restored several times over the years.
