The final section of the great tunnel featuring two ventilation shafts, where the aqueduct transitions from underground passage into an open channel following the Rubiol ravine.

The final visible section of an aqueduct, consisting of a channel carved into the rock measuring one metre deep and 0.60 metres wide.

Eduardo Bonilla Rasines

En la proximidad de Gea de Albarracín, y remontando el Barranco de los Burros, podemos encontrar un tramo del acueducto romano que discurría entre Albarracín y Cella (en mi opinión el tramo más interesante y atractivo). El acueducto excavado en la roca, en parte al aire libre, en parte en túneles, salva un recodo del Barranco, con un resultado óptico espectacular. Así mismo el paisaje que le rodea es de una gran belleza.

En esta zona puede visitarse un tramo del acueducto romano y entrar por su interior. En la visita coincidí con una pareja joven con dos pequeños, que disfrutaron "descubriendo" el acueducto con sus linternas, imaginando historias... Es un lugar accesible y no es necesario llevar elementos de iluminación para transitar por su interior. Eso sí, hay tramos algo oscuros y de poca altura, por lo que conviene ir despacio y con cuidado, para evitar algún coscorrón.

Anxo Alexandro

Tramo denominado barranco de los burros. El acueducto que se puede visitar por un sector a 2 kilómetros es una muestra de la precisión de la arquitectura romana.
